Upgrading Oracle E-Business Suite

A service provider with over 2 billion in annual revenue becomes another satisfied customer for Novara Solutions.  Novara Solutions successfully delivers a complete upgrade solution for one of their enterprise customers running Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10 on Oracle RAC 10g Release 2.  Our client's previous E-Business Suite environment ran on 11i (11.5.9) with Oracle RAC 9.2.  At the beginning of 2008, Novara consultants were engaged to perform a database and applications upgrade to the 11.5.10.2 release including the latest ATG and AD family packs. In addition to upgrading the application tier from 11.5.9 to 11.5.10.2, Novara Solutions upgraded their ERP RAC database from Oracle Database 9i Release 2 to Oracle Database 10g Release 2.  Novara RAC and eBusiness Suite experts were easily able to accommodate existing RAC and E-Business upgrade requirements.

As part of the upgrade process, a migration was performed from their Oracle Clustered File System (OCFS) to Oracle's Automated Storage Management (ASM).  Novara Solutions exceeded the customer's requirements by implementing a backward compatible solution in the event the new upgrades caused training problems for legacy users.

In addition to the Oracle RAC with E-Business Suite upgrade, Novara provided our expert consultants to customize their Oracle Forms, Reports,Discoverer and PL/SQL interfaces.
