A technology company with headquarters in Los Angeles, who is a dedicated provider of data solutions for the entertainment industry, has been our valuable customer for several years.  Over the years, Novara has provided professional services in the areas of Oracle Database Administration, performance tuning, custom development of interfaces between disparate systems, Redhat / Oracle Enterprise Linux system administration, and training in many aspects of Oracle technology stack.   Our client leverages Oracle Database 10g Release 2, Discoverer, and Oracle Developer Suite 10g for their core business support.  Oracle Database 11g Release 1 houses internal applications and repositories for their main infrastructure tools such as RMAN, Application Express, and Grid Control Repository.

Novara Solutions played an integral role in the decision making process to standardize on Automated Storage Management (ASM) and Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) for all of their enterprise Oracle databases.  Obviously, ASM was chosen for performance and scalability.  Databases previously running on Windows 2003 server and Redhat Enterprise Linux were migrated to servers on OEL.
